As is our family tradition, we headed up to Huntly Mill to camp with the Lopezjones family over Labor Day weekend. As usual, we had a relaxing time, the campfires were huge, the kids were filthy, and everyone was exhausted and happy at the end of the weekend. Perfect way to end the summer!
Noah had a rough dinner. This year was an especially bad year for yellow jackets at camp. They were very interested in Noah's burger and he managed to bite into his burger that had a yellow jacket on it and was stung on his tongue. Thankfully we had some children's Claritin in the car, so after Olivia removed the stinger, we gave him some medicine to help curb the reaction. This picture is about 20 minutes later and you can see some slight swelling on the right side of his tongue, but overall, he handled it like a trooper. By the next morning, it didn't bother him in the least.
See what I mean about huge campfires...
It's a beautiful morning in camp!
