Mt. St. Helens was the volcano Noah was most looking forward to on our trip.
We stopped at the Forest Learning Center which is a visitor center run by the logging company that manages the nearby forest. It was very interactive and really educational.
Noah loved the helicopter!
Mt. St. Helens itself.
These trees were all replanted by hand. I can't even imagine the effort involved in that!!
We took some time at the playground to share the scrapes on Noah's head. The ones on the left side are from a spill at Lava Beds campground and the right is from the Mt. St. Helens campground. At least they matched.
We picked up some blueberries from a roadside stand along our drive.
Along the drive, we pulled over to see Mt. Rainier...
...where Olivia was bit by a mosquito.
Ten minutes later, this is what it looked like.
Finally, we stopped for some dinner at a diner where Noah thought it was hilarious to sit in a bench made from a car!
