Special time with Grandma
Bath time for Bonzo
After talking about it for the last 3 days we finally got Noah into the bath after he told us he had that not so fresh feeling. During his short stint in the tub we cleaned him all up and he is fresh and baby smelling again. However, after a few minutes of trying to figure it all out Noah decided that bath time was tragic. He did like getting wrapped up in his zebra hooded towel at the end. But as you can see Noah has declined all comments on bath time to the hounding paparazzi.
It is not easy being green
Our little glowbug Noah had to wait a few minutes to nurse this evening as his mommy had the audacity to use the restroom. While waiting he discovered his thumb and began to suck on it. I was surprised that there was anything left of it by the time he was done. He also was experimenting on a new form of Jazz hands at the same time.

Our first family photo

Victor's Parents were wonderful enough to take our first family photo when we are in the hospital. We just got it the other day and needed to post it. Our next one should include the pets and then it will be complete. We are looking forward to our dog Marty, who has been staying with grandma and grandpa, returning on Monday to meet Noah for the first time. Stay tuned for an update on that.

Noah loves hats
Thanks to all the folks who gave us cozy clothes, Noah has a wide variety of outfits with matching hats to choose from each day. It is important to Daddy that Noah's hats always match his outfits. Daddy's favorite is the green and brown stripy one. Doesn't Noah look like he is enjoying modeling them for everyone?

There's a new Alm in the house
Welcome to our blog. We've decided that this will be a great way to communicate with family and friends about the happenings of our family. Please send us gentle reminders to update every once in awhile if we start to fall behind :) The most exciting news in our house right now is that we have a new Alm! Noah Carl joined our family at 3:41am on Friday, February 20th. He weighed in at 6lbs. 10oz. and measured a full 19.5 inches long.
Olivia's water broke on Thursday night around 2am, but she decided that there was no need to call the doctor right away so waited until 6:30am to call. The doctor said to head to the hospital, so we arrived at John Muir in Walnut Creek around 8:00ish. Hours upon hours later, Noah decided that he should make his appearance and has had his mommy and daddy wrapped around his little finger ever since.

Once home, Noah met Nutmeg the cat and remained unimpressed. Nutmeg, however, was not really sure what to think about this squirmy, smelly, loud thing, but has now come to peace with the fact that he's staying around for awhile.
