Cheeks

Samantha

Noah

Samantha wins the Cheek-Off.

4th of July

 What are they watching?

The Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest of course! Joey Chestnut takes the mustard belt yet again. The books along the bottom of the screen were so we couldn't see the soccer scores running across the bottom as the game was going on at the same time.

Noah was not interested in soccer or hot dogs. He wanted to do some fossil digging. Pretty sure this one is a Pteradon.

She's much more excited about interactive toys now.

 Happy cheeks!

We had a great time visiting friends for a BBQ and fireworks. Noah and Jasper finished the evening with a little late night Dinosaur Train viewing.

Last Day of Preschool

Noah's is done with preschool and ready to move on to Kindergarten. How did that happen?! Time flies when you're having fun!

First and last days. He's probably grown a foot!

Some June/July Happenings

Bright eyes!

Samantha had a doctor's appointment and Noah wanted to hang out on the table with her.

"Don't worry Sister, they're herbivores. They won't eat you!"

More training for American Ninja Warrior.

ZooCamp, playing at the park, and then swim lessons were just too much for this little guy. He fell asleep at 5 and woke up the next morning at 6!

We hung out with Victor after ZooCamp one day. Noah was excited to help out. He declared it "the best day EVER!!!!!!!!"

Her cheeks and chin in all their glory.

 Moonlight hike on Mt. Wanda.

 There was a dinosaur spotting...

 She loves her big brother!

Samantha's Baptism

Samantha was baptized on Saturday, June 28th at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Pleasant Hill.

We figured out that she is the 12th child to wear this baptism gown that her Grandma Paula made many years ago.

It just so happened that Sam was baptized exactly 5 years to the date from Noah, so Pastor Kerstin told Noah to bring his candle along so we could celebrate him as well.

Pastor blessed Samantha with a cross of oil on her forehead which Noah immediately wiped off making everyone chuckle.

She slept through the whole thing.

Noah was Mr. No-It-All during the Children's Sermon.

Pastor Kerstin officially accepted a call at another church earlier in the month (we will all miss her so), but she made an exception to come back to St. Mark's to baptize Samantha, for which we are very grateful!

 Noah just wanted ham.

This is what happens when you don't order a custom cake and it's Pride Weekend. Good times.

She was so very done by the end of the afternoon.
