Father's Day Weekend

Ok, so we're a little late in posting, but we've been having some camera issues. Here are pictures from Father's Day weekend.

Noah's gift for Victor.

Cousin Kendra was obsessed with giving Noah his binky.

Cousins Katherine and Savannah riding the ferris wheel all by themselves at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.

He's a roller!

After a few days of rolling, Olivia finally caught it on camera. To make it even cuter, he's only in a diaper and his little cousins are cheering him on. The grumbling in the background is Marty being jealous that no one is paying any attention to him.

I wonder how often Nutmeg joins him and I don't catch her. She looks entirely too comfortable!

A little playtime

Noah playing on his playmat on the floor.

Nutmeg playing in the sunlight on the floor.

Swinging good time!

Noah swung in a big swing at the park today. He wasn't too sure about it at first, but he liked it towards the end. It's a good thing we aren't germaphobes...those swings were disgusting!

Real Men Sit it Pink Chairs

Noah's getting much stronger and sits in his pink Bumbo chair very well now. He doesn't mind that it's pink. He thinks it's a manly color!

Look who thinks he's so grown up

I'm so big now, I can stand.

Look, I don't need to have you hold both my hands, I'm too cool for that.

All that standing makes me drool.

He's a cutie!

Bear Awareness Day at the Zoo

It was bear awareness day at the zoo, so we took a little trip to see the festivities.

This is Ting-Ting, the Sun Bear at the Oakland Zoo.

Noah got a moon bear to help support Animals Asia, a group that rescues bears from bile farms.

Dr. Goodnight and Kody were giving free teddy bear wellness exams, so we had our new family addition checked out. Apparently he was lacking knees and elbows and was a little deficient in TLC. He was prescribed 25 hugs per day, 3 days of bed rest, as well as some physical therapy and Glucosamine to help with his joint problems.

Brush those teeth!

We brushed Noah's teeth (well gums really, he doesn't have any teeth) with toothpaste for the first time. All he wanted to do was lick the toothpaste, though. It was a super sweet strawberry banana flavor, so I don't blame him. This is now part of his bedtime routine.

Working with Mommy

Olivia's been working from home on Mondays and Noah has been helping out...and eating.

I love my bunny!

The bunny blanket that Grandma Miriam made has become Noah's car seat friend. It's handy because it keeps him warm, absorbs the constant stream of drool, and has handy handle ears that Noah plays with. Here, Bunny is getting kisses while Noah swings.

When times are desperate...

you need both a binky and a thumb!
