Polka Dot Dress

Oh, and here's the birthmark on the inside of Sam's right wrist. According to her doctor, it might fade to tan, it might get bigger, it might stay the same, but it won't do her any harm whatever it decides to do.

2 Month Checkup

Samantha went to the doctor for her two month check up. She now weights 10 pounds and is 21.5 inches long. The doctor declared her healthy as can be and pretty darn cute as well. An almost 3 pound weight gain is pretty awesome, but looking back at Noah's two month stats, it's nothing. He gained 5 pounds in his first two months!

She had a few vaccines which put her right to sleep, a treat really, because her normal reaction to car rides is to scream like a banshee. Lovely, right?

Good Times

The fire goats got a visit before heading to swim lessons. They visit HNU every year to mow down the dry grass and protect the campus from fire.

Decided the regular swim clothes were too cold for the pool, so he is now sporting a wetsuit for lessons.

American Ninja Warrior

Noah has decided he wants to be a ninja warrior (a parkour competition on NBC) and has devoted his free time to practicing.

 See those strong muscles?

Moments

 Waiting for cookies to bake.

Four preschoolers, three balloons, and one very patient high schooler taking care of the candles at church.

 Beating the heat.

 Sleepy smile.

 Sleepy frown.

Stinson Beach

We went to the beach because Victor needed to pick up his race bib for the Double Dipsea race. It's a race from Stinson Beach to Mill Valley and back. He said it was the most grueling 14 miles he's run. We're all very proud that he finished in the top 10%!

Samantha's First Camping Trip

Heading up to Yogi Bear Campground for this year's turtle research trip. An extra person makes the car super full!

A snuggly bed for Samantha in the tent.

Sam on her first Yogi Bear Hayride.

There's Noah!

Sam stayed cozy warm at night and didn't wake up crying at all.

A radio tracked turtle on her way back into the reeds.

The two Noahs out exploring.

Surveying the research site with Daddy.

Peddle boating

Fist bump for Yogi.

Noah was very proud to hold the turtle.

Samantha was unimpressed.

Noah found a nest before heading home. It was a great camping trip!
