I'm Falling Behind Here...

So here's a mad mix of pictures from the last couple weeks!

He had to taste the blackberry whipped cream we made for pancakes the other night.

 Yum!

Last Sunday the Walnut Creek Model Railroad Society had an open house, so we met up with some friends after church and headed over.

The boys waiting for the train to come by. So darn cute!

They do a "Thunder Storm" where they turn off all the lights and flash big strobes and someone comes around with a spray bottle and sprinkles water like it's raining. Noah was not impressed and begged to leave. "No like thunder!" he says.

Being a goof in the car.

His pretty eyes. They aren't completely brown. There's a hint of greenish around the edges that is especially prominent when he's upset.

We've had some crazy weather here lately. We got 7.75 inches of rain in just 2.5 weeks! That of course doesn't count the couple of times it hailed either!

At least all that rain leaves behind some good puddles for stomping.

The creek behind our place is so full, Olivia had to shout to be heard over it.

He's an official crew member at the center now. He's got the shirt to prove it!

Hanging out at the MMC.

The other night, Noah thought it would be good to put all his toys to sleep before heading upstairs.

Noah must snuggle with his 'friends' while Victor reads a story. Just recently, a little bear has joined the group. We're going to have to limit it to just the three. His bed is getting crowded!

Oregon Trip Part 3

Sorry for the delay!

We stopped at the Sundial Bridge in Redding on the way home.
He was so ready to run!

He loved looking through all the holes where the support lines connect to see the river below.

Sitting on 2:00. Too bad is was too overcast for the sundial to actually work.

 Yes, more rock throwing!

What a snuggly little boy!

We also stopped at the Nut Tree in Vacaville for a final leg stretch before heading home.

All in all, a very fun, much needed trip.

Oregon Trip Part 2

One of the fun things to do with the Taylors is visit their backyard chickens!

 Noah helped to feed them.

 And collect their eggs.

Oh my goodness! Look at what I found!

Noah got a belated birthday gift while we were there. What's better for a garbage truck loving boy than a recycling truck (Savannah's playing with it), a book about garbage trucks (with Noah), and a book called Trashy Town (that Kendra is reading).

Creative ways to go downstairs

It was impossible to get the 3 of them to look at the camera at the same time. I love the look on Kendra's face!

We also made it out to the barn to visit Gandolf.

They had to throw some rocks in the pond while they were there as well.

Sharing a snack while Gandolf warmed up.

 Time to ride!

We also made a stop at an open gym session where Kendra takes gymnastics. Noah had a blast!

Yes, he did get stuck upside down after that throw. Good thing Victor was there to rescue him!
