If you have spoken with Noah in the past month or so, you will know that Noah was going to run in his first race on July 4th. He was super excited because he was "even going to get my own bib number!!" The race was just a kid's fun run through the park, but to Noah, it was as real as they come.
Showing us how strong he is before the race.
At the finish line before the race.
Good luck hug from Stomper.
The competition.
They lined up at the finish line, but walked the kids up to a corner before the official start.
(video)
The kids around him started a little early and he took a second to catch on.
Victor walked along the sidewalk to show Noah where to go.
He very quickly fell to the back of the pack, but he was one of the youngest who was not running with a parent, so I think he did great!
Look at that form!
Stomper helped him along the last little bit before the finish line.
He was soooooooooo excited to cross the finish line!
Yayyy!!
Some post race dirt digging.
After the race we hung around for the parade. Some of Noah's favorite entries are below.
The Oakland Raiderettes
Dragon dancers
Polynesian dancers
Police vehicles
The super cool baseball bug
Dancing horses
A giant flag
Super old garbage truck
Fun fact, Concord Disposal is family-owned business that has been operating in Concord since the 1930's.
