He is completely in love with reading now. The first thing he does when we wake up is go to pick out a book to read and it's the last thing he does before bed. His favorites right now are "10 Little Ladybugs", "Hatch", and anything with Maisy the mouse.
He runs everywhere. He climbs, he sings, he dances. He turns on the stereo. He asks to sit in his highchair when he's hungry. He tries to put on every shoe he sees. The other day at church, when the pastor said "Go in peace..." Noah shouted "Bye-Bye" and made everyone laugh. He tries to tell jokes. He likes to sit on the bathroom counter and wave to the "Bay-beee" while we brush our teeth. He gives unsolicited hugs and kisses. He is the light of our lives and we feel so blessed to have such a sweet and loving little boy. It seems like not that long ago that he could barely lift his little head. At least he will still let us snuggle him when he's sleepy.
For 5 days now, Noah has used the potty at least once. We sit him down on it when he wakes for the morning or from a nap and read him books until he pees. He is so proud of the attention he gets when he goes in the potty. We're not forcing the issue, but as long as he's happy to do it, we're happy to not wash a diaper.
He went to the doctor for his 15 month check up last week and she says he's doing great. He still only has 5 teeth, but has about 8 ready to make an appearance any day now. He weighs 21.5 lbs and wears a size 4 shoe. He has grown out of his first pair of shoes, so we've had to move on.
Where did our baby go?
