Fish Take 2

So apparently Baby Blue Fish had a death wish. We found him this morning on Noah's dresser. He found the one inch by one and a half inch opening in the back of the tank and jumped. RIP Blue Fish. Due to the magic of a  14 day guarantee, everyone, please meet Red Fin!

Noah thought Red Fin might like a story about and ambulance because he's red.

Don't forget to show Red Fin the pictures!

Fingers crossed that this one lasts at least 12 hours...

Baby Blue Fish

Noah has his very first pet, a Betta named Baby Blue Fish! Here are some pictures of the little guy.

Photographing a fish is a tank with a rounded front is not an easy task!

The Ice Palace

Victor had a special presentation to make. Due to his recent trip to the Arctic (ahem...post pictures, Victor) Victor has become the zoo's official Arctic Animal Specialist. The first duty in his newly appointed unofficial role was to open the Snow Palace at the mall. Yes, Victor signed a talent contract just like the Ice Princess and Santa, to provide entertainment to the masses of mall goers on the day of Santa's arrival. Ok, so it was really a 10 minute presentation to about 50 preschoolers and some parents, but important nonetheless.

Noah made a potty run before Victor began and was super excited to find a potty that he declared to be "just my size!!!!!" in the family restroom at the mall.

Ok, here's what you were waiting for...Victor and the Ice Princess!

Here's Noah and his little friend from church who came by with her mom to see the show.

Noah kept trying to hold her hand, but she wasn't having it.

After Victor's presentation (which received rave reviews by mall management, by the way), the Ice Princess read a story and then all the kids headed off to visit Santa. Noah was afraid of Santa and instead said that it was his turn to talk about polar bears. Here he is explaining how polar bears are white and live in the ice. All in all, it was a fun morning!

Construction Time!

PG&E was removing an old transformer at Olivia's work, so Noah got to hang out and pretend to be a "construction man" one morning before daycare. Olivia surprised him by bringing his hard hat from home. Unfortunately we had to leave before the crane truck came.

The guys were sweet and gave him his very own pair of PG&E gloves to bring home.

Happy Halloween!!

We went to Boo at the Zoo on Saturday and Noah had a blast with his friends.

The other kids just sort of stood on the back of the fire truck, but fireman Noah had to spray water and run hoses and make sure to put all the fires out.

Tonight, he went trick-or-treating for the first time. He was a little rocky with the whole "trick-or-treat" and then "thank you" thing because people would wish him a Happy Halloween or say hi and he would get confused. Oh well. He was still a very polite fireman and he has plenty more years to perfect the skill.
