Cherry Picking Season

It's time for cherries again, so we headed out to Brentwood with friends to pick some cherries.

 Noah and Alyssa.

Noah didn't want to stand with his friends for the picture so he stood in the background making faces.

After cherries, we moved on to berries. Yum!

Samantha was wearing a cute cherry outfit for the occasion, but was not impressed with the idea of showing it off.

Photographer Alyssa took these for us.

A New Playground

We found a new playground and it's fantastic because it's a spraygound playground! Noah had a blast running through all the different water features. I have a feeling we will be heading back here many times this summer!

Drying off and warming up on the hot cement.

Samantha wasn't impressed with the sprayground...

Noah's Lego Videos

Noah like watching videos on YouTube of people talking about their Lego collections, so he decided to do a video of his own. It's in two parts.

Pizza Party in the Park

So Noah found that rolling around in a loft bed instead of going to sleep is hazardous to your health. Thankfully all he got was a black eye from his fall.

Awesome play structure.

Noah reallllllly wanted to slide with his sister.

Such fun!

Samantha was tired from her busy day.

We put her down in her crib on her tummy and she napped for 3 hours straight! The girl likes tummy sleeping.

A Busy Day

She found her thumb. It was a good temporary solution while waiting to nurse.

She looked a lot like big brother when he figured out how to suck his thumb!

Olivia shelved her in the Star Wars section at the library. Why? Why not?

The day also included a visit to the hospital where she had her hearing rechecked. Her left ear initially failed her hearing screen when she was first born. She passed her retest with flying colors.
After the hospital, we went to her pediatrician's office to have her belly button checked. It was gooey and weird, but looked to be healing ok. While there, we learned that at 16 days old, she was a mere 2 ounces away from gaining an entire pound since birth. The little lady can eat! The nurse practitioner who saw her also declared that she was the strongest 2 week old she'd met. Samantha can hold her head up most of the time, can roll from her back to her side, and has freakishly strong arms that she refuses to have swaddled (which is what the nurse practitioner was attempting to do).

Here she is showing off her skills on her playmat.

Dressed Up for Church

Samantha looked lovely at 15 days old. It was her due date!

Goofy big brother looking handsome as always.
