Vacation Day 5: Medford to Mt. St. Helens

On our way to Mt. St. Helens, we stopped at a super fun park in Eugene, OR so Noah could burn off some energy.

 Hello? Hello? Is there something wrong with our connection?

We finally made it to our campground (which was a little to mosquito-y for Olivia's taste) and Noah made himself at home with his lunch box full of cars.

Vacation Day 1: Concord to Lassen National Park

We took a stroll out to the lake near the campsite to toss a few rocks.

Vacation Day 3 and 4: Lava Beds to Medford

Lava Beds National Monument was our favorite campsite of teh trip. So quiet, so beautiful, and tons of lava tubes to go explore!

 Started the morning with a little hammock time.

 Someone is ready to explore the caves!

 This one definitely had the biggest opening and highest ceiling. Noah's so tiny in the corner there!

 Mammoth crater erupted 33,000 years ago and the lava from the eruption created all the lava flows.

 Hidden Valley is not so hidden if you put a trail marker on the side of the road...

 Noah's headlamp is a Lego Darth Vader. Did you know Darth Vader liked Juniper?

We eventually made our way to Medford and Noah and Kendra had a sleepover.

Apparently, this is the only photo we took on Day 4 of our trip. It was nice to have a day of rest.
