Late

We were late to work and school the other day because life in our little driveway was too exciting. Garbage trucks and tree trimmers!

Teeth

Noah went to the dentist and while he was indeed cavity free as indicated by his sticker, we had confirmation of orthodontic adventures in our future. He sat still for a panoramic x-ray and the dentist confirmed that Noah does not have lateral incisors at all. We knew the primary teeth hadn't come in, but the x-rays confirmed that the permanent teeth aren't there either. They said when Noah starts to lose his teeth they will refer us to an orthodontist to work out a plan which may or may not include shifting his canines in and filing them down to look more like lateral incisors. Crazy.

On a side note, he went to the eye doctor the same day and passed with flying colors. 20/25 in one eye, 20/20 in the other, and he is not color blind.

Early Morning at the Zoo

Victor left his phone in the car after we dropped him off one morning, so Noah and I went back to give it to him. This allowed for a special walk through part of the zoo before it opened.

A turtle up close and an alligator behind it. Hard to see with the reflection and all.

The zoo kitties were out and about.

Phone Dump

I take a lot of pictures on my phone and do nothing with them, so here they are for the past few months!

 Sleepy boy.

A fox outside my office window.

Noah's trip home from the nursery.

 Looking sassy in his sleep.

The Goodyear Blimp coming in for a landing.

Turkeys in the zoo parking lot area. If you yell "Turkeeees!" at them, sometimes they'll gobble at you. Noah and I try every time we see them. This time they gobbled.

Pretty swirly cloud just above the hill.

Summer swim time is here!

Our baby tomatoes are growing. Yay!

Noah wanted to do some tutoring at my work. If you ever need to learn how to write Noah backward in increasingly smaller letters, he's the perfect tutor for you.

Goats clearing brush at my work.

 Pretty flowers.

Some sort of water leak near our house. Noah and I were out for a walk and had to walk in a huge circle to get around it. It was leaking like this for almost 24 hours.

On our walk home, Noah was cold so I gave him my sweater (while I froze) and he absolutely loved it!

A new bruise just above a healing bruise in the same spot.

It's about time he earned his keep around here!

Making silly faces with his lunch on his special face plate.

A pretty flower in our back yard.

Waiting for Daddy

Olivia and Noah stopped at the Zoo to pick Victor up and he was running a little behind, so they had some time to play on the animal shaped playground toys.

Noah has a very vivid imagination. This is the world we all constantly live in.

Tilden Steam Trains

We've ridden the steam trains plenty of times, but the special small scale trains only run on Sundays for a few hours. We were super excited to get the chance to ride them!

Noah really liked this old truck that was made to run on the train tracks and took the picture himself!
