A trip to Monterey

Olivia and Katherine won tickets to the Monterey Bay Aquarium at the Alameda County Fair this summer, so we made a family outing out of it.

First, we stopped at Colton Hall, where California's Constitution was signed in 1849.

Then we stopped for lunch and Noah found this bulldozer to drive in front of the restaurant.

The Aquarium at last!

The next two photos are of the same two jellyfish. The first one is with their tank lighting turned off, while the second has the light turned on. Pretty neat!

Noah doesn't quite measure up to a baby blue whale.

 He's a whale!

Leafy Sea Dragons are the coolest.

Noah hanging out with a sea horse.

The source of great drama. Noah was looking at the fire extinguisher (his favorite pastime) and Victor had the audacity to close the door in an attempt to move Noah along. Noah's response? "Daddy, you really dissappointed me by closing that door."

 Kaleidoscope Noah.

The life sized orcas were a hit.

Noah trapped himself in this net and then announced that he was Bi-Catch.

Trip to Oregon

We made our traditional trek to Southern Oregon over the Thanksgiving weekend. We didn't take many pictures, but here are a few.

We went for a short hike with their new dog.

Maizy!

The kids had some fun in the hot tub.

Noah was excited to see "A Real Volcano" on our way home. This is Mt. Shasta, a real, albeit dormant, volcano.

Happy Thanksgiving!

The cousins out for an after dinner stroll. Connor is stealing a toy from Noah and the look on his face is priceless!

Children's Discovery Museum

We took a trip to the Children's Museum in San Jose with some friends. Great fun was had by all!

The boys were trying to decide if the mammoth was a boy or a girl...

Fun with Friends

 Sliding hugs!

Yikes! Where did November go?!

Playing catch up here...

Taking a bath with his whale shark.

Yes, the water is pink-ish. We got some colored bath fizzy things and have been having fun with colored bath water lately.
