Noah's Belated Birthday Party
Noah was sick for his original birthday party, so we had to reschedule. He wanted a construction party, so construction is what he got. Happy birthday Noah!

Busy Friday
We started the morning with a trip to the doctor for his 3 year old well kid check up. Noah now weighs 30 lbs and is 36.5 inches tall. The doctor was again impressed with Noah's language skills and imagination, but glad to hear that he has "selective hearing" like every other 3 year old she meets.
Later that afternoon, he headed to the dentist for a cleaning. Clean bill of health there, but when we return in 6 months, they want to do x-rays to check on his missing teeth. As you can see in the picture below, his top lateral incisors (the ones between his front teeth and canines) never came in. The dentist wants to see if the adult teeth are in his gums or if they too, are missing.
In the evening, we made a quick trip to the pet store to pick up kitty litter. Noah likes to pretend that he's a kitten when we go there.
He even thought he needed to visit the litter boxes.
According to him, he just pooped in the litter box. (Don't worry, this was just pretend.)
Weekend Bike Ride
We took a short ride to a park after church last Sunday. Noah had a great time playing with the sand that came down through a tube.
This is also a fun feature to ride through. It's a mist fountain!
We finished the night with a trip to the Marine Mammal Center and a refresher class on tube feeding elephant seal pups. Here's Noah demonstrating the rodeo cowboy restraint technique. Don't worry, it's a stuffed elephant seal pup. He has to wait quite a few years before we'd let him on a real one.

New Additions to the Fish Tank
Red Fin wanted in the picture.
We have baby snails. You can see one of the adults partially buried in the rocks, and a few of the babies up close. We've counted 8 so far. This could get out of hand!
A Hike in Redwood
Last weekend, Noah and Olivia went for a hike in Redwood Regional Park with our friend Andrea. We had a great time exploring in the big trees.
Noah of course had to wear his floppy hat.
He got his hands dirty in the creek.
We came across this shelter that someone made in a Redwood grove and Noah had a great time playing in it.
