Mommy and Noah Week of Fun Day 5

We included Victor on Day 5 because he had the day off as well! We figured it was about time we used our tickets to th Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose. It was a lot of fun, but when we return, we'll aim for a time that won't be quite so busy.

(Wardrobe change necessary after water play)

This one cracks me up!

When we got home, we had plenty of time for a bike ride. The kid has become a bike riding fool. It's all he wants to do. This is a balance bike. The idea is that the hard part about learning to ride a bike is learning to balance. There are no pedals on this bike and it is super light so kids can just work on learning to balance. He absolutely loves it!

Mommy and Noah Week of Fun Day 4

First we met up with Clara Shei and her mommy for a playdate at a local park. Great fun was had by all!
Tire swings are more fun with a friend.

This was a very bouncy thing. The park is great because it is accessible for kids with all different abilities. I think this would be great fun in a wheelchair!

What a doll!

Then we met up with Alexander and his mommy for a trip to Fairyland!
Here they are with the owl from Owl and the Pussycat, Noah's most favorite poem.

Noah giving a sermon that consisted of "Cars and trucks love God".

He really did have fun on this ride!

We finallllllllly made it onto the train!

The boys admiring Lake Merritt (aka, stalling on the walk back to Alex's house).

Mommy and Noah Week of Fun Day 3

We took it easy and hung around the house.

Wednesday is Garbage Day!!!

We did some baking.

Yummy cheesy cookie bites!

Noah also played with his Nativity Set. After all the play he was doing with the fragile ones at our house and Grandma and Grandpa's, we decided he might like one of his own that he can do as he pleased with.

Mommy and Noah Week of Fun Day 2

A trip to San Francisco to visit with Ada and Navi.

Lunch for 3 under 3!

Noah's recap of the day. It took a lot of prompting.

Mommy and Noah Week of Fun Day 1

Olivia had the week off of work so we decided to have a week of fun. Day 1 we went on a trip to Tilden Park's Little Farm.

Noah had a blast feeding celery to the cows.

Look! A goose!

Noah calls this "Rainbow Face" which we think might be a frown.

"Sleepy Face"

"Loud Face"

"Shy Face"

Normal happy Noah face!

Sheer excitement over a soft log.

High speed hiking.

Testing out the new boots in Jewel Lake.

Testing out the water in Jewel Lake.

The result? Cold, wet, Noah. We had a hike back to the car, but he got over the cold and had a great time.

That doesn't mean he wasn't still soaked!
