Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa's House

Noah is 6 months older than his cousin Connor.  These two will be trouble as they get older...

All the cousins this year.  From left to right: Katherine (8), Ellie (2 months), Savannah (7), Connor (1), Kendra (3), Markus (6), Noah (1), and Jadon (2).  The Oregon McCook's couldn't make it this year, so the cousin picture is missing 3.

Katherine, Kendra, and new baby Ellie.

 Katherine and Ellie

 Noah and Connor

The 3 boys needed to run off some steam.

 What a cutie!

 Noah and his faces...

Colleen toting Jadon away.  He wasn't ready to go home!!!

 A little lemon picking.

Either Noah's short or Connor's tall.  Or both.

 Fun in the tree.

 So much fun!

Present Time!!!!

In honor of Grandma Lou (the classiest re-gifter we've ever known) who we all miss dearly, we had a re-gift gift exchange.  Noah was re-gifted Block-o-dile that Victor and Olivia bought Savannah when she was Noah's age.

He also got some re-gifted mittens from Katherine and Markus!

Katherine got a big girl bike.

 She was super jazzed!

Noah also got a car from Grandma and Grandpa with doors that open and close!

At home on Christmas morning, Noah got to open MORE gifts!
The trike was a huge hit.

So were the wooden cars/trucks/aircraft in his stocking.

This book from Mommy and Daddy was a huge hit!

More video of the truck book.

This was the Christmas of books.  I think he got 9 regular books and about 15 mini books.  Good thing, because this kid LOVES to read.

So excited he has to do a little air guitar!  We have to get this on video, but his new I'm-so-excited-I-just can't-hide-it move is to dance around playing the air guitar.

He got a tent with a tunnel attached. He has deemed the tent "too scary" but had a blast with the tunnel.

Nutmeg very quickly claimed the tunnel as her own.

Noah and Santa are NOT Friends

Cookie Night!!!

Noah chose to decorate his 'N' cookie.

 He did a great job!

 Sprinkles are tasty!

 Cousin Markus' cookie.

 Cousin Kendra's cookie.

The Alms have a long standing tradition of writing on Christmas cookies.  Some are silly, some are inside jokes, some are in honor of family pets, some are just plain mean (the circles are called insult circles), but all are made with love and are enjoyed by everyone!  Here are this year's cookies:

A whole lot of random

Trying out Nutmeg's bed in the rocking chair.

Nutmeg's bed is more fun on the floor with a football in your hand.

This ritual happens most nights before bed.

Open wide, George!

 Crazed maniac-like smile.

 Checking out the ornaments.

He loves his "Grandma Miriam Pants" that she made for him last Christmas.  Unfortunately, they are geting a little short. :(

Boy does he love this tree.

Umm, hello.  When did he get so grown up looking?

Sick little man dozing on the couch last week.

And videos!!

A little dinnertime fun

Trucks!

Looking Handsome

A little Guitar playing

Noah insisted that he needed to buy underwear the other day.  He was so insistent, that Olivia caved and took him to the store.  He picked out some boxer briefs with guitars on them.  What else should one do while wearing guitar underwear, but play the guitar?  Sadly, it was short lived because he is not potty yet trained .  We'll try again another day. :)
