Buckets of Fun!

Last Bit of Vacation

Sorry for the delay.

Day 14-16:
Medford, OR and drive to Concord, CA
350 miles

We went to the barn for Savannah's riding lesson.

Kendra showed Noah around.  No one rode Gandolf that day because he was feeling under the weather.  Maybe next time we visit!

Then we had some fun in the river.

Noah loved splashing.

Back at the house, Mona needed a ride.

Noah also had fun with the chickens.  Come here chickens!

Why do you keep running from me?

Victor the chicken charmer.

Hi pretty lady!

Yes, Still More vacation!

Day 10:
On the Road: Cottonwood, ID to Pasco, WA
187 Miles

We stopped in Pasco to have dinner with one of Olivia's college friends, Jeff.  Unfortunately, we forgot to take a picture!  Thankfully we have a few shots from along the way.

A diaper changing stop.  Wait...are we being watched?

Ho Ho Ho, Green Giant!

Noah loved watching the planes at the airport from our hotel window.  Mona was obviously excited as well.

Day 11:
On the Road: Pasco, WA to Portland, OR
415 Miles

We fulfilled our promise to Noah and stopped at Big, Big Water (aka Multnomah Falls) on the way back through. While we were in the area, we stopped at Horsetail Falls first.

Under the falls looking up.

Multnomah Falls again

The little fall just before the big one starts.

At the top of Multnomah Falls

Cooling off before hiking back down.

Day 12:
Fun in Portland and drive to Eugene, OR
110 Miles

Fun at the Audubon Society Nature Center

He's fearless!

Then we went to a fun city park where they have a splash pool.

Day 13:
Eugene, OR to Medford, OR
175 Miles

Back at Emily and Nate's we met up with friends again and Emily showed Noah and Gavin how to play the violin.  It must have made an impression because when we got home almost a week later, Noah slid a back scratcher across a broom handle and pronounced it a violin!

Noah and Orvis. (Yes this picture was really from earlier in the trip...)

On our way out of town we decided to go blueberry picking.  Victor and Olivia picked 3.5 pounds.  Noah may have eaten that much on his own while they were picking!

Spying the next juicy berry to eat.

Back in the car, Noah and Mona serenaded us with piano music on the trip to Medford.

Ok, one more post coming soon, but it's time for bed!
